What is Earth Hour?
“Earth Hour is a global event organized by WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature, also known as World Wildlife Fund) and is held on the last Saturday of March annually, asking households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change.”
UCSI EARTH HOUR 2010
So, in order to celebrate such a meaningful event, UCSI University became one of the host for this year’s Earth Hour event. This is the information I got from their posters –
Join Disagree, An Honest Mistake, Halfway Kings and hundreds of other high school and college youths for a FREE, OPEN air, HIGH altitude concert, saying NO to Global Warming!
UCSI University is one of the hosts for this year’s Earth Hour events. Join us for a concert like no other as we rock 370 feet above sea level. From 7.00pm, listen to local bands under the moonlight, including AIM winner, Disagree.
From 6.00pm, take a hot-air balloon ride and watch as the KL skyline go dark at exactly 8.30pm – 9.30pm on the Saturday, 27th of March 2010. For ONE hour we too will be turning off our lights to show our solidarity with ONE billion other people, who, just like us, care for the Earth. Be part of this international event, and together take a stand against global warming.
Remember, Admission is FREE and open to ALL! So bring your friends!

Lastly, these are the toilet for the event.
*more than 1000 people, just 4 toilet booths. No wonder I see urine everywhere. XD
Today I had presented my adv campaign presentation. I seems to me that my group members are not insyncronization with my idea and direction because the presentation went into entourage. One is a good presenter whereas one is a good reader. One is a good with words whereas one is stumbling with words. This shows that their unwell versed sentences shows that they are not prepared for the presentation which 15marks. But luckily, everyone learnt their lesson after an hour nagging from the lecturer. Anyway there will be more presentation coming up… Be prepare for the war.
Our FTV student recently had a new production name “Gangster’s Lesson”, A story about two gangster try to robe a lady hand bag. Directed by Sin Yee, Produced by May Lye, Directot of Photography Nick Seah, Assistant DoP Denis and Art Director Naav. The same crew as my previous post “Ang Pow”.
The short video had a very strong casting, Alan Chee, Stephy Lee and Bryan Tan.

After months of preparation and planning, the members of the UNIFEST 2010 team could never be happier as people enjoyed the show, jumping, dancing, screaming their lungs out in excitement while listening to bands such as Seven Collar T-shirt, Bus Company, Free to Fall, An Honest Mistake, The Bananas and Saving Grace Period.
They thank you, the fellow students of UCSI for making your way to UNIFEST 2010. “We sure hope you guys enjoyed yourselves and partied hard on the night. We made it possible for UNIFEST 2010 to be a success. All 500+ people in attendance for the night,” said one of the members of UNIFEST 2010.
Happy 24th UCSI University. Have a great year ahead and hopefully another round of UNIFEST next year!
Many student don’t know what’s the different between Dolley Shot and Zoom In.
Dolley Shot= Is to push the camera smoothly close to the object.
Zoom In= Is use the camera zoom lens to zoom in abject.

In end of Feb, few student of B.A. Mass Communication (FTV Major) student went down to Labu, near by Seremban, for their Short Film Project name “Ang Pow”. Director and Script writer May Lyn, Producer Naav, Director of Photography Dennis, Art Director Sin Yee and Assistant Camera Nick (me) in the crew.
“Ang Pow” is a story about a guy from village work extreme to hard in town, and forget his parent and where he came from. One day in his office, he found a red packet (Ang Pow) in his drawer. It remind him about his parent that still staying in the village. So he start his journey back to his hometown……..
In this production, we have a lot of fun with the villagers and kids. The entire production is about 3 day at Labu and Kuala Lumpur. We have a great time………
